Honey can be heated to high temperatures and have its pollen removed without ever revealing this to the consumer. Believe it or not, there is a lot of honey fraud going on in the US.
In this podcast, I’ll visit a beekeeper, a honeybee shop and talk with a professor at Texas A&M who is in many ways a honey detective. All of them will help us understand what types of honey make it on to our health food stores and what to look for when selecting a good honey.
